SAJA 2005’s

F5 #whatisFUTSAL session with Stirling Albion Junior Academy 2005’s…thoughts of coach Tony Stanger.

Really good. Engaged and engaging coaches who were passionate about their sport. The boys were focused (often a challenge!!) and pushed themselves to try and improve and pick up new skills which is a sign of an effective session.

The boys at Futsal Scotland delivered a fun and engaging session that really helped our players understand and improve their ball control and retention. Well worth doing and a really useful session as part of their development

FIFA releases “Youth Futsal Development Report”

FIFA releases “Youth Futsal Development Report” – a study based on the futsal competition at the Youth Olympics in Argentina last October.

The article link on the FIFA website is here

And the actual report as a download is here

“The report shows that for boys and girls to enjoy futsal at any level, they must first possess basic technical knowledge, and only afterwards must complex tactical approaches be applied to team play, since the two facets are intrinsically linked.”  Graeme Dell

F5 #whatisFUTSAL session with Carolside Sports Club 2009’s…thoughts of coach David Vallance.

Fantastic night.  Session was great. Liked games-focus. Liked short warm-up drill and coaching debrief around protecting the ball mid-session.

I love the idea of Futsal being different sport with a different pathway into adulthood.

We see futsal becoming more integral to the club following the F5 session.

The players thought the session was very good. They enjoyed the session and liked Mark’s manner and coaching.

Carolside Sports Club 2009’s

It was a great night with a fantastic group of players. We really enjoyed the session and the enthusiasm shown from everyone. Many thanks to the club for having the F5 team along and well done to all of the players for a great session!

Rothes Mavericks 2007s

The F5 #whatisFUTSAL sessions got underway with Rothes Mavericks 2007s.
Rothes Juniors Football Club – Glenrothes

We had a thoroughly enjoyable night with a great group of players so a massive well done to everyone. Many thanks to the club for having the F5 team along.

Here’s some of the feedback from the head coach Stuart Milne.

10 of my 14 players have played Futsal before and really enjoyed it.

My players all enjoyed the session.  All of my players had great fun and learned a lot about control and protection of the ball in Futsal.

A thoroughly enjoyable experience with very enthusiastic coaches.  I thought that the session went very well and I wish that I had booked the hall for longer.

I would definitely be interested in future training sessions with F5.
