MARK POTTER – TECHNICAL DIRECTOR

Mark has been involved with Futsal for over 20 years, and has pioneered the sport of Futsal in Scotland since 1997.  In 2018 Mark successfully completed the UEFA futsal B license in Finland becoming the first Scottish license holder.

Scotlands first National Team Manager, Mark has contacts across the Futsal community from Vietnam and Japan to South America and Europe, most specifically in Spain.

Mark has been a consultant coach with British University and British Maccabi teams, and has a history of producing successful teams. A UEFA B Football coach, he has an extensive understanding of the technical and tactical requirements of the sport and was a key stakeholder in the establishment of the Scottish Futsal League, involved in the development of the Scotland National Team and a contributor to the SFA Futsal Coach Education programme.

Marks coaching endeavours include winning Bronze with the British Maccabi Under 16 team – a first ever medal in Futsal for any Maccabi side – and coaching the Scotland National team to their first international victories.

A former player, Mark represented the Scottish Amateur FA in 2001, and the British Universities in 1999.
